I qualified in 2000 with distinction and honors from Mangalore University, India and worked for few years in general practice. I completed the Statutory Examination ORE by General Dental Council UK in 2008 and attained post graduate qualifications Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery(MFDS) of Royal College Glasgow in 2010 and MCGDent of Royal College England in 2011.
I worked as an associate in various practices during which period I gained wealth of experience in general dental practice dealing with patients of all ages and different treatment needs.
I realised my dream of owning my practice in 2012 when I bought well established dental practice on 63 Causeyside Street, Paisley and renamed it as Finesse Dental Care. I enjoy my role as owner of the practice as this has given me a wonderful opportunity not just to broaden my clinical skills but to develop the administration and business skills of dentistry. Having owned the practice for nearly 12 years I feel that I have been part of my patient's dental journey for a considerable time. My aim is to provide excellent dental care to our patients and we are dedicated to providing highest degree of patient comfort. I enjoy all aspects of dentistry but have to admit my special interests are minimally invasive dentistry, endodontics and cosmetic dentistry. I regularly attend post graduate courses to keep up with the constantly evolving techniques and materials in dentistry. I have recently completed Indirect Posterior teeth restorations course by David Gerdolle where I learnt principles of inlay and onlay preparation which is more conservative of tooth structure. I am very eager to apply the newly acquired skills into practice. I have also attended Oral surgery course by Tamer Theodossy where we were taught the art of dealing with complex extraction cases. Having attended Restorative courses by renowned dentists such as Jason Smithson and Attiq Rahman I have managed to enhance my technique for placing composite and metal free Emax and Zirconia restorations.
I strongly believe and advocate preventive dentistry as it is the cornerstone for good oral health.
Outwith dentistry, I like cooking for my family and friends, travelling abroad and exploring new places with my husband and our two daughters.
